The university is situated in Seoul's Gwangjin-gu district. It was established as the Kyungsung Humanities Institute in May 1940 and changed its name to Seoul Women Teachers Institute (Junior College) in 1947. After 7 years, it was designated as Soodo Women Teacher's College. The 82-year-old private university known as Sejong University was founded in 1978 in honor of King Sejong, the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty, who is credited with inventing the Korean alphabet.

About Semesters and Scholarship
You have to learn for 4 years. For four years, you must learn. There are 8 semesters total, each lasting 16 weeks, and they will be taught at a rate of two semesters per year. Furthermore, you may be eligible for scholarships from 30% to 80%.
